ITS TRUE!!. THE WATER SPINS THE OTHER WAY!!

Wow. First impressions? Humid and cloudy. I met up with my host family, and Irma (the mom) is a lot shorter than I thought she'd be (like 4'10"). The host family is Philipino, they are Victore's relatives.

As we drove through Sydney, some of the things I noticed:
  • The driving lanes are much thinner.
  • Driving on the left is really scary especially when you are in the passenger seat.
  • Speed bumps are made of metal.
  • Round-abouts are really scary for all the above reasons.
I've already been to the mall, which is about as big as circle mall in Indy. It's more like a general shopping center complete with grocery stores than only department stores. They have k-marts and Targets. The weird thing is that there are individual stores for goods like meat, poultry, bread, fruit, etc. They do have a supermarket but the selection pales compared to the specialised stores.

I am eagerly waiting to eat Kangaroo, I will tell you how it is.
